Moore's reconstruction of a large copper cauldron recovered from the site of the English slave ship, Henrietta Marie (ca. 1697-1700). This cauldron was undoubtedly used for preparing meals for the ship's captive Africans. It had a capacity of approximately 85 gallons. The Henrietta Marie transported about 200 slaves from the Bight of Biafra to Jamaica. Olaudah Equiano, kidnapped from his natal village around 1757 was transported from the Bight of Biafra to Barbados.
